EXPLORING THE CULTURAL AND ARCHAEOLOGICAL HISTORY OF PERROT STATE PARK
The exhibit at the Nature Center provides an overview of the cultural and natural history of Perrot and the Driftless Area of southwestern Wisconsin. A history of the region's archaeology illustrates the extensive research that has been ongoing since the 1880s. Visitors gain insight into how the unique geology, plant, and animal life have played a role in the cultural development of the area. Information about native people, past and present and how they have modified the landscape, demonstrates the continuity of culture through time. The Park's current ecosystem is described, highlighting plants and animals commonly seen in the Park through the seasons. Come visit Perrot State Park to learn more.

DIRECTIONS FROM I-90:
Take exit 4 for US-53 N/WI-157 towards LaCrosse/Onalaska.
Follow US-53 for 9.3 miles
Then take the WI-35 N exit towards Holmen/Trempealeau/Co Rd Hd
Stay on WI-35 for 7.8 miles
Turn left onto South St.
Continue on 1st St.
Continue on Sullivan Rd.
Continue on S. Park Rd.
Follow signs to the Nature Center. Free parking is available just outside the Nature Center.
