The Little Bluff Mounds Trail is open and ready for exploration!

The Little Bluff Mounds Trail is completed! The trail was designed by Willie Bittner of Great Lakes TrailBuilders. Many thanks to the hardworking local volunteers who helped with trail installation and kiosk construction. The attached photographs illustrate the installation process and the final product.

The Little Bluff Mounds trail got a bust from Pastor Dana Jackson of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. She mentioned it in the Nov. 27, 2016 service and encouraged everyone to visit the trail. This is the type of local pride we need in the trail.

Since last fall, the trail has been visited by hundreds of Trempealeau residents and out of town visitors. Friends of Little Bluff hosted a wonderful grand opening ceremony on June 4, 2017. Perfect day for ribbon cutting ceremony, tours, and pictures.
