The TRIP team was hard at work in January (2015) to finish some last minute touches on the library display case and prepare for the install. After long hours, the exhibit was completed and unveiled for the community the 24th of January 2015 at the library. Community members and students mingled, explored the display case, and enjoyed refreshments. Archaeologist and curator of the exhibit Danielle Benden said a few words about the project and answered questions about the archaeology of the region. The evening was captured by Trempealeau County Cable as part of a Discover Trempealeau County episode.
The TRIP team would like to thank everyone who attended the unveiling and especially Jessica Schoonover, the library's director, who hosted the party. The remaining two venues: Little Bluff trail, and the Perrot State Park nature center, are expected to be installed this summer and Fall 2015 respectively.
